Long Range Shoot - Nov. 1st, 2:30p to dusk

Postby goettschvcghc » Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:38 pm

Agenda for next time:

• Cold Bore Shot, thinking of a challenge?, for fun or $1/ea. Pot
• Zero conformation period
• We will now start shooting in two-man teams. This will allow the shooter/spotter concept to mesh and should help everyone
• 800y should be the first move. Other shooters may need to confirm shorter distances.
• Each team will need a spotting scope, bring what you have

Important note: Please let me know directly, by email or cell, if you will attend any Long Range shoot in the future. Once confirmed shooters are checked in, I need to lock the front gate. This is of course for safety reasons. When we are out at 1000y it will be possible for the “curious” observer to wander into the line of fire. This is why we the LR shoot is held when the club is closed.

LR Shoot Fee - $5
Range fee for non-members is $10
CB Shot - $1

I'm in. I have a medium reactive target (same as the one sitting on top of the car in front of the 300 yrd berm) we can utilize as well.

Great to see everyone will bring targets to try. Note: at distance these will need to be raised off the ground ~3-4 feet to see them well. Don't know if we should make a few low end stands to help in this effort. Sean if you have any ideas?
